One of the real needs of most groups-whether they be vestries,
corporate management teams, youth groups, men's or women's groups - is learning
how to communicate and work together as a team. Is a cooperative team worth four
to eight hours of your time? Few things build relationships faster and more
effectively than experiential activities that focus on trust, cooperation, risk
taking, communication, flexibility, listening, group decision-making and
teamwork.
The Phoebe Needles Center is offering a new program, called the
Trust Challenge Course, to all types of groups. Your group will spend a half or
full day working together on a series of challenges and reflecting on that
process. All of the learnings, whether for an individual or a group, we
experience in this process, parallel those in our everyday living. It is a great
way to build a team, or enhance the cooperative skills of an existing group. It
is also a lot of fun! |

Plan I
This program will be a half-day
(four hours) of experiential activities and reflection. The cost is $9.00 per
person. We can provide you with lunch for an additional $7.00 per person, or you
can bring your own picnic lunch. Arrival times are flexible and can be scheduled
to meet the needs of your group. |

Plan II
This program will be
a full day (eight hours) of experiential activities and reflection. The cost is
$15.00 per person. We strongly encourage groups participating in this program to
spend the night either before or after the experience in order to best use your
time on the Trust Challenge Course. Overnight accommodations, three meals and
the course fee will be provided for $62.00 per person for non-profit-$80.00 for
profit. |
Plan III
Your Group can design your own program. It can vary in length, an overnight or two at the Center with meals provided or prepared by your own group. The per person cost for the ropes course is the same as the other two plans. The cost of three meals is $24.50 per person, rooms are available for #30.00 per person per night for non-profit, and $35.00 for profit groups.
